Stop 01 · The front

Exterior painting

Pressure washed, repaired, 100% acrylic sprayed and rolled into the stucco. Built for Valley homes, across Tempe, Mesa, Chandler and beyond.

The process

Six steps, in order. Most of them happen before the sprayer comes out.

  1. 1

    Power wash

Every surface we paint gets washed first, so the new coat bonds to clean stucco instead of dust and chalk. The walks, driveway and patio around the house get rinsed down too.

  2. 2

    Protect your property

Shrubs and gravel beds stay covered for the whole job. Plants get breathable drop cloths rather than plastic, so they don’t cook in the sun. Light fixtures, stone and windows are masked.

  3. 3

    Caulking

Old, cracked caulk comes out. Gaps and joints are filled with long-life elastomeric caulk to keep water out of the walls. Popped nails are set and filled.

  4. 4

    Stucco repairs

Small stucco patches and hairline cracks are fixed as part of the job, and textured to blend with the wall around them.

  5. 5

    Scraping and priming

Anything the wash didn’t lift gets scraped by hand. Bare wood is primed, and patched stucco gets a primer coat so the finish color reads evenly.

  6. 6

    Application

100% acrylic is sprayed on, then back-rolled into the stucco texture. Fascia gets two full coats, cut in by brush. Trim edges near the roof are brushed by hand, so no overspray lands on your tile.
